Happy Chinese New Year!
Busy, busy, busy, that is what the last two months have been. In December we celebrated Christmas and in January we celebrated the most important Chinese holiday- Chinese New Year. The children all had a wonderful time decorating and having parties.
Adopted- In December Naomi was adopted by a local Chinese family. This brings the total to 24 children adopted in 2007, a new record for us.
New Arrivals- On December 15th Christopher was able to join our New Day family.
New Project- In December we were able to begin a new foster family project in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Previously in Hohhot, once a child turned three they left their foster families and returned to the orphanage. We wanted to help the children stay with their foster families, so the project was begun. Meet the first five children enrolled in this program.
