Peeling Potatoes

You can't very well mash unpeeled, uncooked potatoes, can you? The children got a chance to practice peeling potatoes using safe knives from our pretend kitchen. When the potatoes were boiled and soft, the children were able to help mash them until perfect consistency. The next and final step was eating the yummy mashed potatoes at our Thanksgiving feast... featured in tomorrow's scrapbook!
