Teachers at New Day are expected to sign and complete a contract for one year at a time. Positions may become available at any time during the year when NDLC has a need. A one-year period normally includes regular semesters, along with a variety of intensive programs.

We welcome applicants with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required
• Teaching and/or ESL certifications desirable
• A heart for people in general, especially for Chinese students
• Commitment to serve for the full contract period

There are two types of teaching positions available at New Day:

Salaried Full-Time Teacher

• Teach up to 20 hours per week with additional office hours to complete a 40-hour work week
• Participate in community and school activities and events

Part-Time Teacher with Hourly Wage

• Teach up to 12 hours per week
• Participate in community and school activities and events
