The students at our Learning Center are eager to interact with fluent English speakers and expand their English knowledge and speaking ability. This is an exciting way to build relationships with Chinese people and also make a significant contribution to the New Day community.

Our students are college aged or older and come to New Day to practice oral communication skills. While many Chinese students have studied English from a young age, they often lack the opportunity speak the language. They come to study with us for a semester (four months) or for one of our winter/summer sessions. Our full time teachers are all native English speakers.

Whether or not you have teaching experience, you can help teach vocabulary, assist with pronunciation and support students as they practice their oral English skills.
